De Red Hat Enterprise 4 a Centos 4

Cuando no cuenta con una licencia de Red Hat Network para hacer actualizaciones, es necesario cambiar a Centos la instalación del ­sistema ­Op­erativo.

Centos es una versión Open Source de RHEL.

Clave pública

rpm --import http://mirror.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-4

Instalación de paquetes

  1. cd /usr/local/
  2. mkdir packages
  3. cd packages/

Paquete RPM Forge

  1. wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.3.5-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
  2. rpm -ivh rpmforge-release-0.3.5-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm

Requisitos de yum

  2. rpm -ivh python-urlgrabber-2.9.7-1.2.el4.rf.noarch.rpm
  3. wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/sqlite/sqlite-2.8.17-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
  4. rpm -ivh sqlite-2.8.17-1.el4.rf.i386.rpm
  5. wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/python-sqlite/python-sqlite-1.0.1-1.2.el4.rf.i386.rpm
  6. rpm -ivh python-sqlite-1.0.1-1.2.el4.rf.i386.rpm
  7. wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/python-elementtree/python-elementtree-1.2.6-7.el4.rf.i386.rpm
  8. rpm -ivh python-elementtree-1.2.6-7.el4.rf.i386.rpm

yum

  1. wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/yum/yum-2.4.2-0.4.el4.rf.noarch.rpm
  2. rpm -ivh yum-2.4.2-0.4.el4.rf.noarch.rpm

Paquete Release

  1. rpm -e --nodeps redhat-release
  2. wget http://centos.mirrors.tds.net/pub/linux/centos/4.6/os/i386/CentOS/RPMS/centos-release-4-4.4.i386.rpm
  3. rpm -ivh centos-release-4-4.4.i386.rpm

Actualización de todo el sistema

yum update
